VRA Holds End of Year Corporate Thanksgiving Service

The Volta River Authority (VRA) has held a non-denominational Corporate Thanksgiving Service and Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols at the Accra Ridge Church as part of activities to mark the end of 2020.

The Service, which was under the theme: "Emmanuel, (Our) God is with us", saw the participation of Management, Staff, Clergy and the renowned Harmonius Chorale choir in thanking God Almighty for seeing the Authority through the year.

Delivering her sermon, Board Member and preacher, Rev. Dr. Joyce R. Aryee, admonished staff to be thankful to God for His goodness and mercies towards the Authority despite challenges faced during the year.

The Chief Executive, Mr. Emmanuel Antwi-Darkwa, in his End of Year Message, reiterated the Authority’s resolve to continue along the path of operational and financial sustainability and thanked staff for their commitment, support, dedication and fortitude during the year.

Thanksgiving Services were also held at other work locations to celebrate the goodness and faithfulness of God.
